    4. Scroll down to Scripting and verify that Enable is selected in the Active scripting group.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x

  1. On the View menu, click Options.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Select Custom and then click on Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Scripting and verify that Enable is selected in the Active scripting group.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.x

  1. On the View menu, click Options.
  2. Click on the Security tab.
  3. Verify that the Run ActiveX scripts checkbox is checked.

Mozilla Firefox 1.5.x

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click on Content tab.
  3. Verify that the Enable Javascript checkbox is checked.

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.x

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. Click on Web Features tab.
  3. Verify that the Enable Javascript checkbox is checked.

Netscape 4.x

  1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  2. Click on Advanced in the Category list.
  3. Verify that the Enable Javascript checkbox is checked.

Netscape 3.x

  1. On the Options menu, click Network Preferences.
  2. Click on the Languages tab.
  3. Verify that the Enable Javascript checkbox is checked.

Netscape 2.x

  1. On the Options menu, click Security Preferences.
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. Verify that the Disable Javascript checkbox is not checked.
